Privacy Policy
Effective Date & Last Updated: September 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how BioEnable Technologies ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, protects, and discloses information in connection with the CamBlocker Gate mobile applications (Android / iOS) and the CamBlocker enterprise console.
CamBlocker Gate is an enterprise-grade mobile device security and facility protection solution designed to prevent unauthorized camera photography in high-security, sensitive, or confidential industrial and enterprise premises.
1. Information We Collect
A. Employee & Account Identification
Provided directly by your enterprise administrator during enrollment:
- Full Name and Corporate Email Address.
- Employee ID or Contractor Badge ID.
- Assigned Organization and Role (e.g. Viewer, Gate Operator, Admin).
B. Device Hardware & Telemetry
Collected by the CamBlocker agent to enforce facility policy:
- Device Model and Manufacturer (e.g., Samsung Galaxy S23, Apple iPad).
- Operating System Version (e.g., Android 14, iOS 17).
- Unique Hardware Identifiers (UDID, Hardware ID, Serial Number) used strictly for cryptographic device binding.
- Camera Hardware Restriction State (whether camera sensor hardware is blocked or unblocked).
- Battery percentage and storage capacity (for device fleet health monitoring).
C. Facility Gate Scan & Audit Events
Logged during physical entry or exit at designated checkpoints:
- Timestamp of gate scan.
- Gate Name, Gate Identifier, and Facility Site Name.
- Enforced Security Action (
LOCK_CAMERAorUNLOCK_CAMERA).
2. Device Permissions Used
Camera Permission (CAMERA)
Used strictly for scanning dynamic QR codes displayed on entry and exit gate kiosks. The camera preview stream is processed in real time entirely on-device to decode QR tokens. We never take, store, upload, or process photos, videos, or personal media files.
Device Administration / MDM Privileges
CamBlocker utilizes Android Device Administration (USES_POLICY_DISABLE_CAMERA) or Apple MDM restriction payloads solely to disable the hardware camera sensor upon entering secure zones and re-enable it upon authorized exit.
Optional Geolocation (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION)
Only requested if your organization has enabled GPS Geofence unblocking. Location data is checked momentarily to verify physical exit from restricted premises and is never continuously tracked or stored in background tracking logs.
3. How Information Is Used & Shared
We use collected data exclusively for:
- Enforcing camera restrictions to protect intellectual property and enterprise security.
- Generating verifiable compliance and gate access logs for your employer/organization.
- Troubleshooting connectivity, MDM synchronization, and device fleet health.
4. Data Retention & Security
All communications between mobile devices and the CamBlocker server are encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.3. Databases and credentials are encrypted at rest with salted bcrypt hashing and encrypted device keys.
Scan audit logs are retained for the duration specified by your enterprise security policy or legal compliance requirements (typically 90 to 365 days), after which they are automatically purged or archived.
5. Account & Data Deletion Rights
In compliance with Google Play Data Safety policies, users have the right to request deletion of their account and all associated personal data. You may submit a request directly through our web portal:
